Frank J. Coates, CFA

President and CEO

Over the past 15 years, Frank has held positions as an individual producer, regional sales manager, director of retirement services, marketing director, director of key accounts, national sales manager, and director of separate accounts for premier money management firms including The Boston Company, Dreyfus, and Strong Funds. Prior to entering the investment management industry, Frank was a lieutenant in the United States Army.

Frank has a Bachelor of Science (Computer Science) degree from Siena College in Albany, NY and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and client training conferences.

Todd Buck, CIMA

Director of Sales

Todd’s responsibilities include all aspects of Sales and Client service for Coates Analytics. Todd is a popular public speaker at National Sales Meetings, and also conducts frequent sales training sessions and consults on the various components of the Coates Distribution Management System. His clients include 35 top-tier Asset Management firms and he regularly works with our Distribution partners, Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney, Wachovia and many others.

Todd is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) and has held senior sales positions at Merrill Lynch, Strong Capital Management, Conseco Fund Group, and ING Mutual Funds.

Todd holds a B.A. in Business Administration from Rowan University.

David Henkin

Chief Operating Officer

David comes to Coates after 10 successful years with Vanguard where he was a Principal. Prior to Vanguard David was an executive with Accenture. David is the author of a management book called 'Innovation Conversation' and he teaches at Villanova School of Business.

David has a BS in business from the University of Maryland, an MA in English from CUNY, and an MBA from Villanova.

David McMullin

Vice President, Business Development

David is responsible for the go to market strategy and execution of the Coates Analytics Mutual Fund Dashboard in partnership with PNC. His responsibilities include sales, marketing, and product management. David has 15 years of direct sales experience, most recently as Regional Sales Manager for MKS Software where he grew revenues within the mid-Atlantic market place by more than 500% over six years, and during that time David also collaborated with key clients such as Iron Mountain, TEVA Pharmaceuticals, SunGard, Delaware Investments, and Fiserv just to name a few, to document business results each realized through the implementation of automated workflow solutions. David holds a Professional MBA from Villanova University, and a B.A. from Denison University.

Steve Truong

Internal Sales

Steve’s responsibilities include all aspects of Internal Sales and Client Service for Coates Analytics. Steve frequently trains Asset Management firms on the various components of the Coates Distribution Management System and is a primary resource for all client inquiries.

Before joining Coates, Steve spent 7 years at SEI Investments (Oaks, PA), where he was a member of the Wealth Network Client Strategy Team. Prior to that, Steve worked in SEI’s Private Banking & Trust department as a member of the Relationship Management Team.

Steve holds a B.S. in Accountancy as well as an MBA with a concentration in International Business from Villanova University. Steve will be completing requirements to become a CFP®) in April 2008.

Tricia Baxter

Research Analyst

Tricia’s responsibilities include data analysis, research and client service for Managed Money Dashboard and Mutual Fund Dashboard. She also assists in various projects including training workshops and conferences.

Tricia has previously held several positions at Nuveen Investments, most recently as a marketing research analyst for Managed Accounts Marketing, as well as a client relationship manager focusing on sales and service. Earlier in her career, Tricia held positions at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown and Legg Mason.

Tricia holds an MBA (Finance) from St. Joseph’s University and a BBA (Accounting) from Loyola College in Maryland.
